Short CET Abstract : With the development of several types of soft toric contact lenses the possibility of fitting patients with toric lenses to improve visual acuity and visual comfort is better than ever. This workshop helps delegates understand the basics about determining initial toric lens selection and how to make modifications to lens parameters after assessing the fit of the trial lens.

Author Short CV(s) : Kamlesh Chauhan BSc (Hons), PhD, MCOptom has over 20 years experience in teaching. Kamlesh has taught at under-graduate, MSc, PhD and post-graduate clinical training. He is a senior College examiner, Chair of the College's Assessment Board, Editor for the College OSCEs and part of the review group for the Scheme for Registration. Outside of the College duties he taught at Manchester university in topics including geometrical optics, statistics and research methods, contact lenses, binocular vision, instrumentation techniques, ocular disease and management and refraction. Kamlesh has also written some peer-reviewed clinical articles including the use of slit-lamps. He is currently the Head of The Vision Care Institute, UK for Johnson & Johnson Medical Ltd.
