Learning Objectives : a) Delegates will be able to conduct a relevant symptoms and history for soft contact lens wearers
b) Delegates will be able to differentiate between normal physiological contact-lens related changes and changes that require intervention
c) In cases of abnormal changes delegates will be able to put into place an intervention plan to manage the patient in a safe manner
Author Short CV(s) : Kamlesh Chauhan BSc (Hons), PhD, MCOptom has over 20 years experience in teaching. Kamlesh has taught at under-graduate, MSc, PhD and post-graduate clinical training. He is a senior College examiner, Chair of the College's Assessment Board, Editor for the College OSCEs and part of the review group for the Scheme for Registration. Outside of the College duties he taught at Manchester university in topics including geometrical optics, statistics and research methods, contact lenses, binocular vision, instrumentation techniques, ocular disease and management and refraction. Kamlesh has also written some peer-reviewed clinical articles including the use of slit-lamps. He is currently the Head of The Vision Care Institute, UK for Johnson & Johnson Medical Ltd.
