Learning Objectives : At the end of the course the practitioner will be able to: demonstrate accurate use of lenses for indirect ophthalmoscopy; carry out assessment of fundi using indirect methods; accurately assess optic discs with Volk-type lenses.

7 slit lamps, 10+ Volk-type lenses. I expect a maximum demonstrator: participant ratio of 4:1. It is likely that more hospital optometrists and ophthalmologists will be on hand to assist on the evening, so it may be as low as 2:1.
