Ian Jarvis is an Independent Optometrist in private practice. He has been involved in the training of pre-reg students as a supervisor for 15 years. He is involved in optometric education at both local and national level. As past chairman of Scottish Committee of Optometrists and vice-chairman of Tayside Optical Association. He has also presented talks to Optometrists on Clinical Diagnosis, Digital Imaging, Recognition of Ocular Pathology, Differentiation of Wet/Dry AMD and to General Practitioners on Ocular Pathology He is currently Course Director at the Dundee Clinical Skills Centre
